Role Description The Project Coordinator is a full-time, office and on-site role based in Edmonton, AB, supporting the successful planning and execution of structural steel projects. This role assists project managers with scheduling, tracking milestones, and coordinating project documentation, including contracts, drawings, change orders, and progress reports.

The Project

Coordinator communicates with internal teams and external stakeholders to confirm requirements, align expectations, and ensure accurate, timely information flow. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project timelines and budgets, preparing status updates, organizing meetings,



and following up on action items to keep projects on track. The role also supports quality and safety initiatives by helping maintain compliance with company standards and client specifications.

Qualifications

- Experience in project coordination or project administration within construction, fabrication, or a related industry.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities to handle schedules, documentation, and multiple priorities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency with project management and office software (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets, scheduling tools; experience with construction or fabrication management systems is an asset).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing drawings, reports, and documentation, with a focus on quality and safety requirements.
- Understanding of construction or structural steel processes, terminology, and workflows is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Edmonton, AB, in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project needs.
- Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering technology, business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with budgeting, cost tracking, or basic financial reporting for projects is an asset.
