Immediate opportunities are available for civilian Project Information Officers in Edmonton, Esquimalt, Victoria, Winnipeg, Halifax, Borden, Kingston, Ottawa, Montréal, Québec City, and Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
In this role, you will serve as the Information Management lead for major construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring project information is properly managed throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include:
- Establishing information requirements,
- Supporting Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes,
- Reviewing contractor information management plans,
- Coordinating project data,
- Leading the transition of project information into operational asset records upon project completion.
Ideal candidates will have post-secondary education in a geomatics-related field, along with experience managing project information and spatial data for construction projects, using GIS, CAD, and BIM tools, and applying industry standards and information management best practices.
