Project Context The department is implementing a new Information and Network Management (INM) platform and requires a professional who can bridge both project management and technical delivery. This role will coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage project execution, and support technical activities related to data integration, migration, reporting, testing, and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day INM implementation activities, including milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and action items across multiple workstreams.
- Collaborate with implementation vendors, IT teams, cybersecurity, data owners, and business stakeholders to define requirements, priorities, acceptance criteria, and delivery responsibilities.
- Facilitate requirements-gathering and design workshops, documenting user journeys, business processes, functional requirements, and configuration decisions.
- Manage data integration and migration activities, including source system analysis, data profiling, source-to-target mapping,
transformation rules, data quality validation, reconciliation, and remediation efforts.
- Develop and maintain Python and SQL scripts to automate data extraction, transformation, profiling, validation, reconciliation, and migration testing.
- Create dashboards and reporting solutions to track implementation progress, testing outcomes, data quality metrics, and user adoption trends.
- Coordinate system configurations, environments, interfaces, releases, and deployment readiness activities.
- Plan and execute integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT), while managing defect tracking through resolution.
- Support the implementation of INM workflows, forms, inspections, asset information structures, dashboards, maps, and operational use cases.
- Prepare project documentation including implementation plans, data mappings, data dictionaries, process maps, status reports, training materials, SOPs, cutover plans, and support documentation.
- Assist with end-user training, change management, business readiness activities, go-live support, hypercare, and transition to operations.
Candidate Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proven experience using Python for data analysis, automation, or integration activities.
- Strong dashboarding and data visualization experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated experience leading projects as a Project Manager.
- PMP certification (or equivalent project management credentials).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience within the utilities, power systems, or energy sector.
- Familiarity with large-scale enterprise system implementations and data migration projects.

In accordance with our compensation practices, ALTEN is providing the salary range associated with this opportunity. Final compensation will be determined after considering several factors, including qualified experience, skill set, educational background, certifications, and geographic market conditions. The current target salary range for this role is $54 per year.
