Job Title: QE Lead ETL Tester

Location: Markham, ON (Hybrid)

Type: Contract

Technical Skills Primary

- 7-11 Years of Software Quality Assurance experience on enterprise level applications which includes Data Warehouse Testing
- Experience in testing SAP BO reports
- Experience in ETL testing for structured and semi-structured files, relational and multidimensional data stores
- Good knowledge of Python
- Robust understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Experience in writing complex SQL queries ability to determine the types of testing that must be conducted ie data validation regression etc including evaluating the testability of requirements and create a comprehensive test plan that supports the business and technological solutions being delivered
- Experience working on Snowflake and AWSS3 including PostgreSQL DB SQL Database Hadoop Data Lake and Mongo DB
- Must have experience in testing ETL build on tools Informatica PowerCenter BDM
- Ability to transform complex Business logic into SQL or PLSQL queries

Secondary Skills





- Experience with developing data extraction transformation and load programs daily and initial load functionality on a wide range of data repositories structured and semistructured files relational and multidimensional data stores
- Experience with data integration data cleansing and data analytics
- Experience with data modeling and design principles for data marts and data warehouses
- Experience in tuning SQL queries Stored Procedures Views etc for performance improvements

Soft Skills

- Should be a self-starter, takes responsibility and ownership and is self-driven
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as ability to work within a team
- Good team player, commitment to high-quality output and service

Qualifying Questions

- Do you have experience working with ETL testing specifically in Informatica
- Do you have experience working with Snowflake platform
- Do you have experience in testing SAP BO reports
