Role Description The Quality Assurance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Montreal, QC. This role is responsible for performing quality inspections, monitoring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The specialist reviews documentation, verifies product and process conformity, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.

Daily tasks include conducting internal audits, maintaining quality records, assisting in root cause analysis, and recommending corrective and preventive actions.



The role also contributes to the development and refinement of quality procedures, supports training on quality practices, and helps ensure that products and services meet stringent defense industry expectations.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, with the ability to apply quality tools and methodologies in a technical environment.
- Experience with Quality Management systems, including establishing, maintaining, and improving documented processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles and their application to production, testing, and documentation activities.
- Competence in Quality Auditing, including planning, conducting, and reporting on internal or supplier audits.
- Relevant technical or engineering degree or diploma, or equivalent experience in a defense, manufacturing, or high-technology environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action (CAPA).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards; attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in an on-site setting.
- Familiarity with ISO or similar quality standards and proficiency with quality-related software tools is an asset.
