Background

U-Rite partners with leading real estate private equity, development, brokerage and capital-markets groups across North America, providing underwriting services and software-as-a-service.

U-Rite is part of Elsam Capital, a privately held investment group with operating businesses and direct investments across real estate, hospitality and technology.

Position

We are looking to hire a talented Real Estate Investment Analyst to contribute to U-Rite’s underwriting services and core software, while also supporting acquisitions, development and asset management initiatives across Elsam Capital and its portfolio companies. You will work directly with our principals and corporate partners throughout the investment lifecycle.

You will

- Lead financial modelling initiatives supporting corporate partners’ acquisitions, developments, asset management and lending requirements.
- Underwrite direct acquisitions and development opportunities for Elsam Capital and its portfolio companies.
- Prepare investment memoranda, market research, business plans, budgets and return analyses.
- Support due diligence, financing, negotiations and transaction execution.
- Assist with development and asset management, including coordination with brokers, lenders,



lawyers, architects, engineers and contractors.
- Evaluate refinancing, expansion and disposition opportunities across the existing portfolio.
- Develop product features and provide implementation solutions for U-Rite’s flagship software.
- Advise engineers and product managers to ensure the quality and usability of the product.
- Work directly with the principals in executing strategic initiatives involving internal and external stakeholders.

Skills & Knowledge

- 1–3 years of experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, development, investment sales, lending, investment banking or corporate finance.
- Advanced Excel and financial-modelling skills.
- Excellent financial literacy and analytical capabilities.
- Solid understanding of real estate valuation, cash flows, debt structures and investment returns.
- Ability to understand complex financial, property and development issues.
- Superior problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and proficient in managing complex models and data sets.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership and move projects to completion.
- Experience with Argus, development underwriting or hospitality real estate is an asset.
