ABOUT THE ROLE The facility is seeking compassionate and dedicated professionals to join the team at one of Ontario's largest long-term care homes. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing clients, developing a plan of care, implementing treatments, and evaluating outcomes, in consultation with the client and/or other health professionals, in accordance with the Standards of Practice for the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). The RN works as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Wage: $32.55–$50.25 per hour.

WHAT YOU BRING

Education/Experience

- Certificate of Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses (CNO)
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Long-Term Care experience
- Gerontology nursing experience

Skills/Abilities

- Leadership experience preferred
- Excellent physical assessment skills
- Recent experience in the administration of medications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrates strong communication skills, including transparent and compassionate verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities essential for professional collaboration
- Evidence of continuing professional development experience
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work

Conditions of Employment

• This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC), where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
