Cannabis Sales Representative – Ottawa

Location: Ottawa, Ontario

Position: Independent Contractor – Field Sales

Compensation: $20/hour + $0.73/km mileage reimbursement

Reports To: VP of Commercial Strategy & Operations

We are looking for an outgoing and motivated Cannabis Sales Representative to support our growing presence in the Ottawa market.

This is a boots-on-the-ground sales role for someone who enjoys meeting people, visiting retail stores, building relationships, and representing cannabis brands in a qualified and engaging way. You will work directly with our VP of Commercial Strategy & Operations to help build relationships and increase brand awareness throughout the Ottawa market.

What You'll Do

- Visit licensed cannabis retailers throughout Ottawa and the surrounding area
- Build relationships with store managers, purchasers, budtenders, and retail teams
- Introduce and promote our products and brands
- Deliver approved product samples and promotional materials to retailers
- Provide product education and speak confidently about our products with retail teams
- Gather feedback on our products, samples, competitors, and opportunities in the market
- Follow up with retailers and identify potential sales opportunities
- Report directly to the VP of Commercial Strategy & Operations,



providing regular updates on store visits, retailer feedback, leads, and opportunities

What We're Looking For
- Friendly, confident, and comfortable starting conversations with new people
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
- Previous sales, cannabis, retail, hospitality, or customer-facing experience is an asset
- Knowledge of the Ontario cannabis market is an asset
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
- Ability to travel throughout the Ottawa area
- Must meet all legal requirements applicable to working within the Ontario cannabis industry
