We are seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to support a large-scale Student Financial Services Client Portal modernization project. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, integrating, testing, and supporting secure application functionality and its integration with existing internal systems. The role requires strong experience with .NET, ASP.NET Core MVC, C#, SQL Server, Identity Management, REST APIs, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, responsive UI, front-end frameworks, and Azure DevOps.

The candidate will translate technical requirements and User Stories into solution architecture, perform code reviews, follow development best practices, develop SQL scripts and stored procedures, build secure and responsive user interfaces, develop and integrate REST APIs, and support application upgrades, configuration changes, and troubleshooting.

Analyst will also participate in Agile/Scrum activities, conduct unit and QA testing, prepare technical documentation, analyze and resolve defects and change requests, and provide technical guidance and mentoring to other developers.

Experience with secure application development, data confidentiality and privacy, multilingual software systems, and Canadian Public Sector environments is highly desirable/required within the evaluation criteria. The position is a full-time contract, with a hybrid work model in Fredericton, New Brunswick,



and remote work permitted with onsite attendance as required.

Requirements

- 8+ years of experience with .NET and MVC
- Strong experience with ASP.NET Core MVC / C#
- 1+ year of experience with Identity Management
- 4+ years of experience with SQL Server, SQL scripts, and stored procedures
- Experience developing secure applications and protecting data confidentiality/client privacy
- Strong Agile/Scrum development experience
- Ability to translate technical requirements and User Stories into solution architecture
- Experience with code reviews, coding guidelines, and development best practices
- Strong JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and UI design experience
- Experience with responsive UI and front-end frameworks
- Experience with UI design systems
- Strong experience developing and integrating REST APIs
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and development environments
- Experience working as a Programmer/Analyst in the Canadian Public Sector
- Experience developing/supporting multilingual software systems
- Experience with Identity Management programming and design
- Solid analysis, design, development, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum team and participate in development activities, code reviews, testing, and technical discussions.
