Role Description We are looking for an Event Server to join our team. Daily tasks include setting up event spaces, preparing tables and service stations, serving food and beverages, wine service and bartending, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness and organization before, during, and after events. The events server collaborates with culinary and event staff to coordinate timing, support smooth event flow, and respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.

This role also involves handling basic payment procedures when required and consistently upholding health, safety, and hygiene standards.





Qualifications

- Solid customer service and hospitality skills, with the ability to engage guests in a friendly, professional manner and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Experience in food and beverage service, including serving meals, handling beverages responsibly, and following safe food-handling practices.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen, respond to guest needs, and work collaboratively with teammates.
- Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tables, event activities, and service tasks efficiently.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry trays or equipment safely, and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Prior experience in restaurants, catering, or event venues is an asset, especially in interactive or culinary-focused settings.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
- Basic cash handling or POS system experience is beneficial.
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one is preferred.
