Role Description The Tutor for Physics - Topics Online Classes will deliver engaging physics lessons to learners while working on-site in Ontario, Canada, for a contract-based position.

Responsibilities include planning and structuring physics lessons aligned with learners’ levels, curriculum requirements, and exam objectives. The teacher will conduct live online classes from the on-site location, use digital tools to demonstrate concepts, assign and review practice problems, and provide timely feedback. Day-to-day tasks involve preparing instructional materials, clarifying complex physics concepts, tracking learner progress,



and adjusting teaching strategies when needed.

The role also includes communicating regularly with learners (and guardians where applicable) and collaborating with the Odtutor team to maintain high teaching standards.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with proven experience teaching physics topics at the secondary or post-secondary level.
- Demonstrated Lesson Planning skills, including the ability to design structured, goal-oriented, and engaging physics lessons.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly in an online classroom setting.
- Experience in Training or coaching learners for exams, including the use of assessments to measure and support progress.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Education, or a related field, or equivalent teaching experience.
- Comfort with educational technology and online teaching platforms, including digital whiteboards and video-conferencing tools.
- Ability to work in office in Ontario, Canada, and maintain a reliable schedule for online classes.
- Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching practices and continuous professional development.
