Role Description The Videographer is a full-time hybrid role based in Montreal, QC, with a mix of in-office and work-from-home days. The role involves planning, shooting, and editing video content that supports corporate communications, marketing initiatives, client presentations, and thought leadership pieces. Daily tasks include collaborating with internal stakeholders to define project objectives, setting up cameras, lighting, and audio equipment, and capturing high-quality footage in office, event, and interview settings.

The Videographer will also manage post-production workflows, including editing, color correction, basic motion graphics, and file management, while ensuring all content adheres to brand guidelines.



This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and a commitment to clear visual storytelling tailored to a corporate finance audience.

Qualifications

- Robust video production skills, including planning, shooting, and post-production workflows.
- Proficiency in camera operation and handling various camera systems and accessories.
- Experience with lighting setups for interviews, presentations, and corporate environments.
- Demonstrated ability in shooting video in both controlled studio-like settings and on-location scenarios.
- Knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic motion graphics tools.
- Understanding of sound recording basics and use of microphones suitable for corporate video (e.g., lavalier, shotgun).
- Strong visual storytelling skills, with attention to composition, pacing, and brand consistency.
- Excellent time management, organization, and ability to work independently and within a small team.
- Comfort collaborating with finance professionals and translating complex ideas into clear visual content.
- Relevant education or training in film, media production, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
