Be Infoblox .Senior Manager, Software EngineeringWe are looking for aSenior SoftwareEngineeringManagerto join our Universal DDI Team in Burnaby, BC reporting to the Director of Software Engineering. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and direct management of development teams around the world. Yourteamswillleveragecutting-edgetechnology, contribute to open-source initiatives, and use our microservice-based architecture to build cloud-based network service offerings. and provide guidance and corrective actionsInteract with executive managementregardingdevelopment issues and opportunitiesBe Prepared -What you Bring:Minimum 15 years of experience in software technology with at least 5 years of experience building and mentoring high-performance development teamsHistory of leading teams to deliver innovative, easy-to-use, high-performance enterprise SaaS applicationsDemonstrated ability to hire, build, coach, and manage a world‑class development organizationStrong architecture skills andtechnologyknowledge. Ability to lead andparticipatein architecture, design, and technology discussions. Ability tofacilitatethe process of resolving challenging technical and architectural issues within and across groups.Strong knowledge of agile development process and CI /CD environments, specifically related to SaaS-based applicationsKnowledge of cloud‑based infrastructures—Docker, Kubernetes, and AWSStrongdeveloping and debuggingskillsin system and /or object‑oriented languagessuch as Go, C, Javaor similar in a Linux environmentStrong knowledge of software design, data structures, and algorithmsAbility to use automation and AI-assisted tools thoughtfully to improve development efficiency, debugging,



and analysisDeepNetworking knowledge and experience with DNS and DHCP protocolsFamiliarity with database design, scalability, and performance is strongly desiredStrong knowledge in software design, data structures, and algorithmsBachelor’s degree in CS, CE, or EE isrequiredand a master’s in CS, CE, or EE is preferredBe Successful — Your PathFirst 90 Days: Immerse in our culture, connect with mentors (Blox Buddies), and map the systems and meet with key stakeholders that rely on your work. Discuss and create short /long term goals.Six Months: Develop your knowledge of our cloud‑based application platform, micro‑service architecture, and our development processes. Lead multiple geographically diverse development teams, delivering value to our customers with our agile CI /CD pipelines. Deliver high‑quality features within agile sprints, improve system performance and scalability and contribute to architecture discussions and technical innovation.One Year: Work with our engineering and product management teams to define requirements and design new applications for our cloud‑managed SaaS solutionsChampion quality, innovation, and efficiency in our development tools, architecture, and processes.
