This is a temporary contractor position and is a current existing vacancy.We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with 10-15 years of experience joining our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in the telecom industry standard L4/L5 processes, Telecom Business Operations with Hardware Asset Management, Sales & Order Management & ServiceNow experience. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, analytical skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable user stories and solutions. The Senior Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in gathering and analyzing business requirements, documenting detailed business process with use case, scenarios and flow diagrams, writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, activity diagrams and use case scenarios to implement new solutions and drive user adoption of software platform across the organization. The role will also be responsible for effective communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.Conduct comprehensive stakeholder interviews, workshops, and focus groups to understand business processes, pain points, and objectives in depth.Utilize various techniques such as business process modelling, case analysis, and user story mapping to capture and validate requirements.Employ empathy and active listening skills to uncover the implicit needs and preferences of end-users.Document business requirements using standard templates, ensuring clarity, completeness, and traceability.Prioritize requirements based on business value, urgency, and feasibility,
in collaboration with stakeholders and project teams.Clarify requirements and segregate them into functional and non-functional categories.Provide wireframes designs for usability and customer experience.Process Improvement:
Evaluate and align existing processes with TM Forum standards and L4/L5 processes.Document recent processes specific to Telecom Operations which will include Hardware Asset Management, Sales & Order Management, Service Management, Provisioning, Field Services, Incident, Problem and Change Management aligned with ServiceNow.Conduct detailed process mapping and analysis to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for optimization.Employ process modelling tools such as BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) to visually represent current and future state processes.Facilitate process improvement workshops with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and implement innovative solutions.Develop comprehensive process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process flows, and decision trees.Implement process metrics and KPIs to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Solution Design and Implementation:
Collaborate closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical user stories, specifications, and system design.Facilitate requirement refinement sessions with developers, solution architects, and QA engineers to ensure a shared understanding of the solution.Develop detailed user stories with acceptance criteria using Agile methodologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Prioritize user stories in collaboration with the business owner and development team,
considering dependencies and constraints.Conduct sprint planning and grooming sessions to refine user stories and estimate effort accurately.Validate completed user stories against acceptance criteria and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders.Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.10-15 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the telecommunications or IT industry.Proficiency in TM Forum L4/L5 processes, Telecom Operations, ServiceNow, and Order Management.Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean is highly desirable.Advanced proficiency in process modelling tools such as Microsoft Visio.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.Proven track record of delivering successful business solutions and driving process improvements.Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus.Certification in TM Forum Business Process Framework Fundamentals (eTom) is a nice to haveCertification in Business Analysis (e.G., CBAP) is preferred.Additional Qualifications:
Familiarity with requirements management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.Strong facilitation skills with the ability to lead workshops and facilitate consensus among diverse stakeholders.Experience in change management methodologies and techniques.What do we provide:
