We are looking for anexperienced tax professionalto join us. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with real-world tax experience who may be:Looking for impactful, high-level work in a rapid-moving environmentInterested in transitioning from external advisory to an embedded strategic roleThis isnot a junior position. You will work directly with the Founder and CIO on strategic legal/tax operations and help lay the groundwork for a proprietary internal tax software system.Responsibilities
Evaluate and document TTG’s current tax processUnderstand our GP/LP and International trading structureAdvise on transitioning some tax functions in-houseIdentify what parts of tax preparation, filings, or compliance could be internalized in a cost-effective, low-risk mannerLead the scoping of a proprietary tax software solutionWork with our software developers to define features, workflows,
and reporting logic for a future internal system.Requirements
Eligible to work in CanadaUniversity degree in Accounting, Taxation or a related fieldCPA designation, enrolment in the CPA program, or equivalent tax/legal training is a strong asset3+ years of experience in Canadian corporate tax or complianceExposure to cross-border or multi-entity structures (e.G. LP/GP) preferredStrong organizational and documentation skillsInterested in working with a hedge fund at the intersection of finance, law, and technologyEntrepreneurial mindset — thrives in a high-autonomy, high-impact roleBased in Canada (Alberta preferred but not required)
