Lead electrical work packages through feasibility, front end engineering, detailed design, construction support, and commissioning Develop, review, and approve drawings, calculations, specifications, equipment lists, and technical reports Oversee design packages for substations, medium and low voltage distribution, grounding and bonding, lighting, cable routing, and equipment layouts Own scopes, estimates, schedules, and budgets, and lead technical discussions with clients, vendors, and contractors Conduct site visits, field investigations, and commissioning activities Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, technologists, and designers Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering ~ Eng. with Engineers and Geoscientists BC,



or eligible for immediate registration ~7+ years of industrial electrical engineering experience in sectors such as manufacturing, energy, utilities, mining, forestry, or process ~ Strong experience building and reviewing complete electrical design and drawing packages ~ Working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code, National Electrical Code, and relevant IEEE standards ~ Solid client facing communication, technical writing, and presentation skills ~ Travel within North America, must have valid driver's license ~ Considered an Asset Power system modelling in ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, or similar, protection relay programming, AutoCAD proficiency or oversight, feasibility studies and capital planning, mentoring experience.
