We are seeking 2 Support Workers who will be responsible for provide support to a young man with developmental disabilities at home and in the community. Full time positions. Competitive wage. Key Responsibilities: ➢ Supporting the individual’s personal care needs and all areas of daily living ➢ Supporting the individual’s communication at home and in community ➢ Exploring, supporting, and facilitating opportunities for engagement in community The ideal candidate will possess:



Solid communication skills; experience working with special needs populations is an asset ➢ The ability to work independently in unstructured environments and to employ effective time management skills ➢ excellent coaching skills – knowledge of and ability to demonstrate and support the development of skills as they relate to managing a home, social and work life ➢ A valid Class 5 driver’s license; access to a reliable vehicle and applicable insurance ➢ First Aid and CPR certification ➢ Recent Police Check (within 6 months) ➢ Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training is considered an asset An industry competitive salary is offered.
