Seeking to hire a farm labourer for livestock operation. This is a physical, outdoor year-round, all-weather job with morning and evening split shifts. Shifts are 3:30 am – 8:30 am then 5:00 pm -7:00 pm daily, some weekends and holidays as needed. • Outdoor work, year-round in all weather conditions • Daily care and handling of a variety of livestock • Mucking out stalls and cleaning animal housing • Collecting and packing eggs twice daily • Repairing and maintaining fences and pens • Maintaining and servicing equipment • Cleaning and organizing work spaces • Handling, feeding, watering and monitoring livestock • Assisting with animal movement and loading • Other general farm labour as required Physical & Working Conditions: • Requires lifting, carrying,
and moving of items weighing 50+ lbs • Prolonged standing, bending, and kneeling • Exposure to manure, dust and animal waste This role involves repetitive and physically demanding hands-on work with limited flexibility around shift times. Must work independently and have positive problem-solving skills. Wage: $15/hour - $18.50/hour based on experience Only applicants who can reliably work the 3:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. shifts and handle heavy outdoor labour should apply.
