We are seeking an
experienced
Industrial Cleaner Support
specialist for a critical, short-term maintenance shutdown project at one of our paper mill’s. Paper manufacturing creates heavy-duty cleaning challenges, including extreme heat, moisture, and high accumulation of wood fiber, pulp slurry, and paper dust. You will play a vital role in deep-cleaning the production floor, paper machines, and raw material storage areas during this time-sensitive window.

Key Responsibilities
Machine Deep Cleaning:
Safely blast, vacuum, and wash down paper machines, winders, pulp processing equipment, and rollers during the scheduled maintenance shutdown.Debris & Dust Management:
Help to clean and remove heavy accumulations of wet pulp, wood chips, chemical sludge and paper dust from rafters, pits, and conveyors.Heavy Equipment Operation:
Help to support and safely operate high-pressure water blasting equipment (hydro-blasting), industrial air compressors, and heavy-duty shop vacuums.Safety Protocols:
Follow strict safety guidelines when operating in hot, loud, and damp environments.
Qualifications & Requirements
Mandatory Experience:
Previous heavy industrial cleaning experience is strictly required
.




Candidates without industrial or manufacturing cleaning experience will not be considered.Availability:
Must be able to work the hours required for entire assignment from September 10th to September 17th inclusive.Safety Certifications (Definite Asset):
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
certification and
Confined Space Entry
are not required but considered a definite asset.
