At CMD, you will be entrusted with safely transporting waste and recycling materials while ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations. Responsibilities include operating collection vehicles, conducting inspections, and providing reliable service to customers. The role requires both independent work and collaboration with dispatch for efficient route management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate collection vehicles in a safe manner
- Complete daily inspections and address maintenance needs
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and skilled standards
- Accurately handle route documentation and reporting
- Interact professionally with customers and the public
Requirements:
- Class 1 BC Driver’s Licence or Class 3 with Air Brake
- Clean driver’s abstract essential
- Experience with waste handling equipment preferred
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
- Dedication to safety and regulatory compliance
