Join the Community Recreation Branch as a Part-Time Assistant Ski & Snowboard Instructor at Earl Bales Ski & Snowboard Centre in North York, Toronto. Support ski programs while ensuring participant safety and enjoyment.
We are looking for a diligent individual to assist in our ski instructional programs. As an Assistant Instructor, you will help maintain a secure learning environment and engage with program participants of all ages. This part-time role is crucial for promoting active lifestyles in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Aid Ski/Snowboard Instructors in teaching sessions
• Ensure safety for all participants during lessons
• Respond to inquiries from participants and spectators
• Follow and implement existing program outlines
• Participate in training sessions and community meetings
Requirements:
• Must be at least 14 years old
• Original Basic First Aid certification required
• Certification in Parks and Recreation Ontario’s PHCD
• Must complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Passion for recreational activities and community engagement
Contribute positively to recreational programs while fostering safe and enjoyable experiences.
