This highly visible role is responsible for continued development and maintenance of our financial operations and reporting to support rapid-paced growth.For Canadian residents only.ResponsibilitiesProactively lead finance efforts, aligning to Canada’s Securities regulations stipulated in the National Instrument, in addition to ensuring compliance with our Restricted Dealer and Marketplace registration and accompanying exemptive relief decisionProactively leading efforts to prepare Crypto.Com Canada for CIRO membership, including updating finance policies and procedures in light of CIRO’s requirementsProvide ongoing updates to Crypto.Com Canada’s Senior Management regarding the overall compliance programEnsure policies and procedures meet/exceed regulatory requirements and are being executed in accordance with policyCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure compliance requirements continue to be met.Preparation of reports for Management and Board of DirectorsPreparation of required quarterly and annual regulatory reportingAssistance with tax return preparation, financial statement audit,



and supporting schedulesCompletion of ad hoc project work such as automation of daily/monthly processes to improve efficiency and outputSupport Finance team with work with Crypto.Com entities as needed to support global reportingProcessing and oversight of operating cash flows, customer cash accounts, and related cash movementsReview of cash reconciliations, bank platforms and statements, and NetSuite reportingQualifications and Requirements5-10 years of experience with various National Instruments which apply to Crypto Trading PlatformsExperience with CIRO (formerly known as IIROC) monthly/quarterly requirements and best practices.Resident in CanadaKnowledge of finance, regulatory, and governance challenges with regards to digital assets, securities, custody and onboarding of digital asset FIs and CTPsStrong interpersonal skills, team player, self-motivated, quick learner with excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while efficiently managing large amounts of dataFierce attention to details to follow procedures meticulously and correct mistakesComfortable with change, ambiguity, conflict, and dealing with numerous stakeholdersDrive results through leadership, people, communication and influenceHighly organized, and process / people orientatedLife @ Crypto.ComEmpowered to think big.
