Empower Indigenous youth as an Indigenous Support Worker with Wetaskiwin Regional Public Schools. This full time role focuses on advocacy and relationship building within the Pigeon Lake community. We're looking for a culturally-grounded individual to join our Learning Support Team and enhance the educational experience for Indigenous students. Your responsibilities will include addressing obstacles to attendance and wellness while fostering a positive school environment. Collaborate with families and organizations while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Key Responsibilities:
- Build positive relationships with students and families
- Work with teams to ensure safe learning environments




- Assist in overcoming attendance and basic needs barriers
- Organize cultural programming for student engagement
- Manage and track attendance and progress data Requirements:
- Diploma in Human Services or similar field
- Strong understanding of Plains Cree culture
- Proven experience in collaborative settings
- Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector check
