Located in Calgary, Wood’s Homes is dedicated to enhancing mental health for families. As a Youth and Family Counsellor, you will work on a 4 days on, 4 days off rotation. This role is pivotal in delivering case management and therapeutic support to youth, guiding them through challenges and fostering their well-being. Your responsibilities include facilitating routines and engaging with cultural and spiritual resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct therapeutic sessions and case management for youth • Maintain a supportive and structured living environment • Instruct daily living skills relevant to everyday activities • Collaborate on individualized care plans and goals • Handle crisis situations effectively with TCI techniques
Requirements: • Class 5 driver’s license required • CPR and First Aid certification is a must • Degree/diploma in relevant fields plus 2-4 years experience • Preferred experience in vulnerable populations and various systems
