They must attain a degree or Diploma in ASL-English Interpreting to be eligible for this post.



People must have fluency in American Sign Language and English to be considered as an asset for this post. People must have the ability to interpret in a wide range of formal, informal, educational and professional settings. Candidates applying for this post must have prior knowledge and understand the Skilled Code of Ethics of the Canadian Association of Sign Language Interpreters. People must have fluency in American Sign Language and knowledge of Deaf culture and must attain the ability to work effectively and collaboratively as members of a team. People must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be considered as an asset for this post. Work setting
