This full time role focuses on short-term counseling and family-centered interventions for military families affected by various issues, including relationships, crises, and mental health needs. The ideal candidate will exhibit a trauma-informed approach while providing case management, resource coordination, and advocacy. Support families in both virtual and personal settings, contributing positively to their wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide single-session interventions and short-term counseling • Support families during crises and challenging transitions • Conduct psychosocial support and case management • Co-facilitate mental health and lifestyle management programs • Document and maintain client information securely
Requirements: • University degree in mental health field • 2 years of related clinical experience • Clear Police Check/Vulnerable Sector Search • Current registration with professional regulatory body • Verbal and written proficiency in English
