Tim Hortons in Victoria, BC is hiring an experienced Baker to join the kitchen team at 880 Esquimalt Road. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced bake shop and café environment.

Work Setting:

Food Specialties:

Breads and rolls, Desserts and pastries, Donuts and muffins

Responsibilities:

- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
- Bake mixed dough and batters
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Prepare special orders
- Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff (1 to 2 people)
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas
- Operate machinery
- Organize and maintain inventory

Requirements:

- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
- Ability to distinguish between colours
- Attention to detail
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination




- Ability to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Reliable, accurate, dependable team player

Work Conditions:

Fast-paced workplace, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, tight deadlines, work under pressure.

Shifts:

Early morning, morning, day, evening, night, weekend.
