This position is integral to the Department of Medicine at Vancouver General Hospital, focusing on supporting the largest centralized Internal Medicine Training Program in Canada. As a Scheduling Assistant, you'll oversee the academic curriculum, organize examinations, and assist Lead Medical Residents. This role demands excellent judgment, while handling sensitive information and navigating high operational demands.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate logistics for academic sessions and exams
• Oversee Educational Curriculum Committee meetings
• Organize and lead Objective Structured Clinical Examinations
• Create and maintain call schedules for residents
• Provide administrative support to the Program Director
Requirements:
• High school diploma with a two-year post-secondary diploma
• Four years related experience or equivalent education
• Robust communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
