Position Information
As a Coordinator 3: Digital Education Trainer at The Ottawa Hospital (TOH), you will be at the forefront of our digital education initiatives, playing a vital role in facilitating Epic education through a variety of channels, including e-modules, classroom sessions, and virtual instructor-led training. In addition to delivering engaging educational content, you will also provide essential administrative support to ensure the seamless operation of our training programs. This multifaceted position requires a blend of instructional design expertise, training facilitation skills, and effective administrative capabilities to effectively support our staff's learning and development needs.
Rotation/Shifts
Days, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements
- Three (3) year Undergraduate Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Informatics, Adult Education or a related field;
- Three (3) years of relevant experience;
- Two (2) years of experience using Epic
- Knowledge of organizational workflows and Epic reporting experience;
- Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for reporting, fostering positive relationships with team members and stakeholders;
- Excellent verbal communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively;
- Willingness to learn and adapt to change, with a proactive approach to professional development and skill enhancement;
- Ability to build rapport easily and work collaboratively with diverse groups of individuals, promoting a supportive learning environment;
- Good technical skills to navigate training platforms and tools proficiently, ensuring smooth delivery of digital education programs;
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to plan and organize own time and projects and to work together collaboratively with project teams;
- Ability to seamlessly integrate training materials with clinical practices;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with Microsoft Teams for collaboration and file management;
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in office administration within a healthcare environment, providing familiarity with healthcare processes and terminology;
- Previous experience with 'Articulate' Suite and e-learning design/maintenance;
- Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, including content creation and editing, to support document management and collaboration efforts ;
- Credentialed Trainer certification in an application used at The Ottawa Hospital;
- Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
