GeoTerra Surveys is a well-established skilled geomatics services firm located in PEI and Nova Scotia. We are looking for a Survey Technologist with field experience in cadastral surveying in PEI or a PEI Land Surveyor in Training to join our team.

GeoTerra provides a full spectrum of legal, topographic, construction, drone/UAV mapping and bathymetric surveying services including land development and consulting in both rural and urban settings. Our land surveyors provide direct, in-person mentorship and skill development. This position may lead to career advancement for the right individual.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Working in a team workplace and individually in both field and office settings
- Performing various types of surveys efficiently and accurately, and maintaining concise field notes and sketches
- Working in both urban and rural settings, including construction sites, in all types of weather
- Ensuring survey equipment and company vehicles are maintained and organized
- Adhering to company safety policies

Requirements and Qualifications:





- Diploma or Degree from a recognized surveying or Geomatics program
- Experience in cadastral field surveying, including condo, and multifaceted developments in PEI
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think critically, be well organized with attention to detail
- Experience researching, reviewing and extracting information from legal plans
- Computer and technical competence
- Must have a valid Driver’s license
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide mentorship to others
