About the Role

The Company is seeking a President & CEO to provide strategic, collaborative, and values-driven leadership. The successful candidate will be the national voice of the canola value chain, championing the organization's strategic priorities, and serving as the leading spokesperson for the sector. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, market access, sustainability, and value creation across the entire value chain. The ideal candidate will be a highly respected and strategic executive leader with a proven track record in uniting diverse stakeholders and delivering results in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. They should have significant senior leadership experience in agriculture, agri-food, industry associations, government relations, or a related sector, and a deep understanding of the policy, trade, regulatory,



sustainability, and market dynamics shaping the Canadian and global agricultural landscape.

The President & CEO will work closely with the Board, staff, members, industry leaders, and government stakeholders to shape the future of Canadian canola. Key responsibilities include strengthening domestic and international market opportunities, advancing policy and advocacy efforts, and fostering a cooperative, high-performing organizational culture. The role requires an exceptional relationship builder and communicator, capable of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, from boards and governments to grower groups and international partners. The candidate should combine commercial acumen with sound judgment, political savvy, and strong operational leadership, while ensuring that the organization's mission, values, and long-term strategic objectives are upheld.
