and hair specimensFollow strict chain-of-custody proceduresPerform specimen validity testingComplete point-of-care testingAccurately document and interpret testing resultsClient ExperienceWelcome clients professionallyVerify identity and documentationExplain testing procedures clearlyCreate and maintain confidential client recordsEnsure every client receives exceptional customer serviceResolve concerns professionally and respectfullyAdministrationMaintain accurate electronic recordsAssist with inventory managementPrepare testing equipmentSupport clinic operationsTravel to client worksites when requiredA Typical DayEvery day is different. You might spend your morning conducting hearing tests and respirator fit testing before supervising physical abilities evaluations for workers entering safety-sensitive positions. Later in the day, you may perform drug and alcohol testing, travel to a client worksite, or assist with clinic operations.
