Empower clients as a Residential Care Worker with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, providing critical support services in person. This role is essential for creating a positive, client-centered care environment.
As a member of the Women’s Treatment & Community Services team, you will support the needs of clients in a residential setting. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, show genuine empathy, and have a commitment to personal and qualified integrity. Experience in facilitating care from a client-centered approach is vital for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with clients • Cultivate a safe and encouraging atmosphere • Adapt quickly to changing client needs • Participate in team and individual learning opportunities • Commit to regular supervision and team meetings
Requirements: • High school diploma, Manitoba guidelines • Relevant experience in a residential or addiction environment • Current CPR-C, AED, and First Aid certification • Strong ability to remain calm under pressure • Understanding of Indigenous traditions and values is beneficial
