This role is within a specialized 20-bed inpatient unit designed for older adults dealing with dementia and associated behaviors. Your contributions will help facilitate patient assessments, stabilization, and their eventual reintegration into the community with a recovery-focused approach. This position requires teamwork and adaptability within diverse patient care needs.

Key Responsibilities:



• Offer specialized nursing care for geriatric patients • Implement recovery-oriented strategies in treatment plans • Collaboratively work with a multidisciplinary team • Document assessments and medication administration accurately • Support the transition of patients to community settings

Requirements: • Registration in positive standing with the College of Nurses • Valid CPR-Health Care Provider certification • Knowledge of psychiatric health nursing standards • Proven nursing experience in mental health settings • Strong communication and critical thinking skills
