The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is looking for an Itinerant Educational Assistant to provide essential support under the direction of the Program Manager. This 100% regular, ten-month position prioritizes Tier 1 and Tier 2 interventions while consulting on Tier 3 needs. Your expertise in Autism, Early Learning, and behavior management will help enhance student learning outcomes and staff capacity.

Key Responsibilities:



• Facilitate social-emotional skill groups for students • Develop resources and lead professional learning initiatives • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary school team • Coach and model best practices for school staff • Write reports and interact with families and community agencies

Requirements: • Child and Youth Worker diploma or equivalent experience • 5+ years supporting students with exceptionalities • Certification in Behaviour Management Systems preferred • Valid Driver's License and vehicle for travel • Experience in mental health and Autism support
