Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Trans Mountain Corporation operates Canada’s only pipeline system transporting oil products to the West Coast. We deliver approximately 890,000 barrels of petroleum products each day through a dual pipeline system of more than 1,150 kilometres of pipeline in Alberta, British Columbia and Washington state. Trans Mountain also operates a state-of-the-art loading facility, Westridge Marine Terminal, with three berths providing tidewater access to global markets. As a federal Crown corporation, Trans Mountain continues to build on more than 70 years of experience delivering operational and safety excellence through our crude oil pipeline system. With our expanded pipeline system now in place, Trans Mountain provides enhanced direct access for Canadian crude oil to world markets. The expansion realizes a world-class system for oil transport, developed to Canada’s high standards within one of the most stringent regulatory regimes in the world, creating long-term economic benefits, enhanced marine protection, enhanced safety and emergency management capabilities, and enhanced skilled-worker capacity building in communities and Indigenous groups. Our Core Values Trans Mountain’s core values – Safety, Integrity, Respect and Excellence – guide our every step. Each obstacle we’ve overcome or success we’ve experienced has been the result of a shared commitment to living these values every day. Together, we’re focused on doing the right thing for each other and our communities. If you are looking for an opportunity to apply your strengths in an environment that encourages Safety, Integrity, Respect, and Excellence, we invite you to explore this chance with us! Location: Calgary Head Office Department: WCOP Support Reports to: Director, Project Services Worker Type: Contract Schedule Type: Full-time Work Setting: In-office Trans Mountain is seeking a collaborative, motivated, and values driven individual to join our dynamic team as a Senior Planner (Contract). The role will coordinate schedule inputs across discipline leads and third parties, facilitate integrated planning sessions, and develop and maintain integrated, logic-driven, resource-loaded schedules that provide a reliable basis for coordination, progress measurement, forecasting, and management decision-making. The role will also provide expert advice on planning and scheduling processes, schedule quality,

and recognized industry practices. Experience supporting complex, multi-billion-dollar developments is considered an asset. Key Responsibilities Develop, baseline, and maintain integrated, resource-loaded project schedules aligned with the approved scope, WBS, milestones, execution strategy, reporting requirements, and validated resource assumptions; establish scheduling structures, including activity coding, calendars, schedule levels, reporting layouts, and update protocols. Integrate schedule inputs from internal functions, consultants, contractors, and third parties, ensuring appropriate representation of scope, deliverables, interfaces, dependencies, review cycles, procurement, regulatory activities, and execution-readiness requirements; apply progressive elaboration and rolling-wave planning as project definition matures. Plan and facilitate integrated planning sessions to confirm scope, activities, sequencing, dependencies, interfaces, responsibilities, resources, constraints, and key milestones. Coordinate the timely collection of planning and progress information, challenge inputs for completeness and realism, consolidate agreed outcomes into the integrated schedule, and follow up with responsible parties to close outstanding inputs and actions without assuming accountability for discipline-owned technical decisions. Document planning decisions, assumptions, changes, constraints, action items, accountable owners, due dates, and follow-up actions in clear, traceable records. Administer the schedule update and cut-off process; review progress submissions for completeness and consistency; update actual dates, remaining durations, forecasts, resources, activity status, and approved constraints; and support objective progress measurement using deliverable-based measures, quantities, weighted milestones, and rules of credit, where applicable. Maintain an auditable record of schedule updates, source information, adjustments, assumptions, and approved changes,

and resolve incomplete or unsupported progress information with responsible contributors. Recalculate schedules and assess the impacts of progress, changed conditions, emerging constraints, and revised execution strategies; perform critical- and near-critical-path analysis of float, milestone movement, schedule slippage, and forecast completion dates. Review schedule logic, constraints, calendars, lags, activity relationships, open ends, out-of-sequence progress, excessive durations, and other schedule-quality indicators. Identify schedule trends, emerging delays, interface risks, resource conflicts, execution bottlenecks, and impacts of proposed scope, sequencing, resource, contracting, or execution changes. Develop what-if, recovery, mitigation, acceleration, and alternative schedule scenarios, clearly documenting inputs, assumptions, limitations, and implications; provide timely early warning of potential schedule impacts and recommend practical actions. Prepare schedule variance reports and concise commentary explaining milestone movement, critical-path changes, float consumption, emerging constraints, trends, forecasts, risks, and proposed mitigation actions. Produce rolling look-ahead schedules identifying near-term activities, interfaces, information requirements, decisions, constraints, accountable parties, and required-by dates. Maintain dashboards, milestone reports, progress curves, resource profiles, schedule narratives, and other planning outputs; support weekly and monthly project reporting with accurate schedule status, variance analysis, forecasts, key risks, constraints, and recommended actions. Establish or support fit-for-purpose planning and scheduling procedures, templates, quality checks, and reporting requirements; conduct schedule-healthand quality reviews to confirm schedules are complete, logically sound, maintainable, and suitable for their intended management purpose. Review contractor and consultant schedules for scope coverage, logic, sequencing, durations, resource loading, calendars, progress methodology, interfaces, coding, and compliance; document findings, required corrections, ownership, and resolution status. Provide expert planning and scheduling advice and recommend practical improvements based on recognized industry practices and relevant project experience. Promote consistent practices, continuous improvement, knowledge
