Job Type: Fixed Term, Full-time

Contract Duration: 6-months

Work Location: Onsite (Milton, ON)

Hours: 9 :00pm - 5:30am (flexibility as needed), Monday - Friday, Weekends as needed

Hourly Rate: $25.87

What You'll Be Doing:

- Inspect pallets to ensure accuracy, along with no damages.
- Timely and accurate loading and unloading of trailers, according to MOL, GMP, HACCP,



CTPAT or any other standards that create a safe environment for the worker, the food, and or the drivers. Where preparation is necessary it should be organized and communicated in a way to ensure safe and proper transfer of goods.
- Flawless execution of the WMS.
- System issues will be communicated immediately to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor.
- Equipment for the collection of the data will be monitored and managed in a way to minimize damage or malfunctions.
- Maintain all necessary skills and training to provide safe and efficient service.
- Expected to re-familiarize through training and or recertification, this includes the safe operation of equipment to complete assigned tasks and its basic safety inspections.
- Assists other department requests when necessary.
- Complete inventory checks and counts as assigned
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor including the coverage of other forklift operators.

What We're Looking For:

- High school graduate or, minimum five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Maintain valid certifications as determined by provincial or federal regulations for all lift vehicles.
- Valid Forklift/Counterbalance Certificate.

Bonus Points If You Have:

- Dessert Manufacturing or Bakery experience.
- Comfortable using WMS, handheld scanners, and basic WMS.
- Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and continuous improvement.
