Join Ruth & Naomi's Mission as an Employment Program Coach in Chilliwack, BC. This full-time role is dedicated to coaching and supporting participants as they seek sustainable employment.
In this position, you'll mentor individuals facing various barriers, guiding them through hands-on work experiences and workshops. Your efforts will help participants gain the skills and confidence necessary to succeed in the job market. You'll engage with community projects while building robust, supportive relationships with participants and local businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide participants in developing workplace skills and readiness
• Oversee hands-on employment opportunities through various projects
• Supervise participants in community-based experiences




• Maintain accurate documentation and track progress
• Build positive relationships with community partners and stakeholders
Requirements:
• Experience assisting individuals overcoming employment barriers
• Skills in coaching, mentoring, or vocational rehabilitation
• Strong relationship-building capabilities
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
• First Aid certification and de-escalation training, or willingness to obtain
