Seize the opportunity to work as a Red Seal Electrician with Hemlo Mining Corp., located in Northwestern Ontario. This position emphasizes the maintenance of electrical systems in both underground and surface settings.

In this role, you’ll report to the Electrical Supervisor, maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical infrastructure vital to safe and compliant operations. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure minimal downtime and bolster safety culture across production areas.

Key Responsibilities:



• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems across the mine • Maintain adherence to preventive maintenance schedules • Conduct high-voltage switching and cable connections • Perform inspections ensuring compliance with standards • Quickly address equipment failures to meet production goals

Requirements: • Electrical License (Construction & Maintenance 309A) • Experience with high-voltage systems, including installation • Proficient in interpreting electrical schematics • Solid organizational and analytical skills • Capability to perform physically demanding tasks in tough environments
