you will acquire valuable skills and knowledge allowing you to achieve success in all facets of work and life.GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Dispensing Technician reports directly to the Color Manufacturing Manager and is responsible for preparing production batches and wet samples for color formulations within a controlled environment. Follow all safety procedures, understand all safety equipment, and adhere to company policies.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAccurately and quickly dispense, correct, and produce color batches and samples from prescribed formulas and materials.Use related processing equipment (paint shakers, drawdown tables, and scales).Maintain accurate records and documentation.Fill and maintain an inventory of supplies.Clean and maintain all equipment and work environment.Perform other departmental duties or tasks as required.Recall, input and save accurate color data using the iMatch software on a computer.SKILLS REQUIREDExcellent attention to detail.General mechanical aptitude is an asset.Ability to multi-task.Good Time Management Skills required.Able to work independently and as a team member.Excellent attendance history and positive work attitude are required.EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or Level 12 G.E.D.Dispense Technician or related experience is an asset.SHIFT: Evenings, Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:15 pm750 Bradford St, Winnipeg, MB R3H 0N3, Canada
