Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated --individual to join our team as a Receptionist / Veterinary Assistant. This role combines front-desk responsibilities as well as hands-on clinical support. The position is part time and can later be full time.

Key Responsibilities

Reception Duties

- Office duties such as organizing, photocopying, scanning and faxing
- Greet clients and patients in a warm,



qualified manner
- Answer phone calls: schedule and confirming appointments, and manage inquiries
- Process payments and maintain accurate client records
- Handle emails and general administrative tasks

Veterinary Assistant Duties

- Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures
- Restrain animals safely and compassionately
- Clean and prepare exam rooms and equipment
- Support basic animal care (feeding, walking, monitoring)
- Husbandry duties such as: Cleaning dishes, laundry kennels etc.

Qualifications

- Education; Grade 12
- VOA certificate is an assist
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or customer care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a medium-paced environment
