If you are committed and collaborative professional looking to contribute to a hard-working, innovative team, this opportunity is for you.The Training Administrator supports the Power Generation Region by delivering accurate, timely, and well-organized administrative assistance across training programs and activities. This role ensures that all training processes are executed in alignment with established policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Working closely with Trainers, Training Coordinators, HR partners, and site teams, the Training Administrator maintains training records, prepares course materials, tracks learner progress and compliance, and supports the effective coordination of training delivery to ensure a seamless and professional experience for all participants.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTraining AdministrationPrepare classroom and course materialsPrepare training rostersAssist the training coordinator with training reporting and notificationsSchedule, and close out course offerings in TRMSLink and delink qualifications and training requirementsCoordinate with Onboarding and Learning & Development teamsAssist with administration of the Supervisor Training ProgramAssist with weekly training reporting and notificationsMailboxes, Calendars and CommunicationMonitor shared mailbox and process or triage requests as neededMaintain PGR Training calendar - secure room bookings, notify facilitators and stakeholders etc.)Communicate information to internal/external stakeholdersSchedule team/department meetings & record/distribute minutesProvide general administrative support to the teamTraining,



Learning & Development and other Admin supportCoordinate with the Onboarding and Learning & Development teams to roster current hires for required Plant Access Training (PAT)Assist with processing and submission/upload of TLD renewal formsWork with Training and Onboarding Coordinators and Learning & Development Coordinators on other duties as assignedDocument Control and Records ManagementMaintain Tracking LogsDistribute, retrieve, archive documentsMaintain project libraries (training files, hard credits, attendance sheets, certificate cards, etc.)Adhere to retention policiesCOMPETENCY REQUIREMENTSCommunicates effectively (excellent verbal and written communication skills).Customer FocusHolds self and Others Accountable (proven ability to accurately handle a high volume of transactions, meet deadlines and prioritize workload).Problem Solving and Innovation (Strong analytical and critical thinking skills).Teamwork and Collaboration (Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a variety of people in a professional manner; Flexible team player with the ability to function independently while working in a team environment)EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSCompletion of a College certificate or University degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is requiredTraining or coursework related to office administration, HR processes, or records management is an assetExperience with onboarding, HR systems, or training platforms is considered an assetCompletion of relevant safety or industry‑related training is an asset (e.G., nuclear/site onboarding requirements)WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS2–4 years administrative experienceExperience supporting onboarding, HR, or training‑related workflowsExperience maintaining records and processing documentationFamiliarity with onboarding, training, or eLearning systemsExperience coordinating schedules, room bookings,

The starting salary will be based on several factors such as the successful candidate’s qualifications, including but not limited to education, experience and overall competencies. Salary is one component of Black & McDonald’s total rewards package.
