We are seeking anOpenBlue Customer Advisorto partner with customers to deliver value. You will drive successful outcomes for customers and serve as a key consultant throughout the entire customer lifecycle. and open to growing the position as we grow as our business.How You Will Do ItResponsible for end-to-end delivery of customer value for OpenBlue solutionsCustomer OnboardingParticipate in initial project kick-off callsUnderstand customer personas, end users, use cases and goals; Ask questions to becomedeeply familiar with your customers’ businesses challengesTrain end users on the OpenBlue customer value framework and success metrics to be measuredShare product training resources and technical support processesValidate the completion of scope as per contract and customer needsProvide customers with a guided product tour after deliveryAdoptionBecome a trusted advisor by helping customers to understand and use the product to achieve business outcomes, including end users as well as internal and external channel partnersMonitor product usage analytics and provide feedback to customers.Establish 30-60-90 day check-ins for new customers followed by regular touchpoints to discuss adoption, issues, and value creationAdvocacy (Build trust / transparency)Review any open issues / technical support tickets with customersProvide initial triage, basic support, and customer training to resolve problems quickly, leveraging technical support teams as neededMonitor customer health and value delivered; Conduct Net Promoter Score (NPS) surveys and ensure all feedback loops are closedParticipate in Customer Business Reviews (QBRs) in partnership with digital commercial account managers.Serve as the voice of the customer and share feedback with Product Management and Commercial teams on how we can better serve customersRetention and GrowthEnsure we are meeting customers’ definition of successIdentify other opportunities to provide valueDrive new business growth by earning favorable customer referencesWhat you will needRequiredBachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.Minimum 5+ years recent experience in HVAC systems, building automation systems, energy management solutions, facility management, or building maintenance servicesHands-on experience working with installation, deployment, or use of Operational Technologies (OT) in medium to large facilitiesExperience delivering user training, product demonstrations,



and addressing operational questions to drive end resultsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to work with customers or partners across operational and senior levelsStrong track record in customer relationship management with enterprise customers, supported by endorsements from references, in roles such as Customer Success Manager, Account Manager, Project Manager, Performance Assurance Engineer, and/or Technical SalesExtremely organized project management skills to manage multiple customers in your portfolio, maintaining detailed notes and action plansDemonstrated ability to lead within a matrix organization, effectively coordinating across teams and mobilizing resources.Enjoys learning new things in a self-directed fashion, consistently building new skills, knowledge, and expertise in a fast-changing environment with minimal formal trainingExperience driving process improvements to enhance customer satisfactionCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Johnson Controls in Canada and the ability to get Canadian government security clearance.PreferredExperience with smart building software and/or energy management systemsCertified Energy Manager® (CEM) certification (Association of Energy Engineers)Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) certificationFrench language skillsThe role may include up to 10% travel.SALARY RANGE$120,000 - $155,000 CAD (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
