Support student success as an Online Teacher at Kootenay Discovery School, focusing on Applied Design, Skills and Technologies (ADST) and Physical Health Education (PHE) for Grades 7-12. This position is part-time and starts September 8, 2026.
As part of the ongoing curriculum implementation, you will provide support to Cranbrook’s online learners. Candidates must have formal teaching qualifications and experience, along with a deep understanding of online educational technologies. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Learning Management Systems will play a pivotal role in your effectiveness in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop tailored learning experiences for online students
• Communicate regularly with students and families




• Use technology to facilitate and assess learning
• Lead online instruction in ADST and PHE
• Maintain accurate records of student progress
Requirements:
• Degree and training in relevant teaching areas
• Proven experience with online education
• BC Teacher Certification preferred
• Familiarity with digital tools for teaching
• Robust organizational and communication skills
