Role Summary

We are seeking a Hydraulic Design Engineer to design and support custom hydraulic systems used in engineered-to-order equipment. This is a hands-on role involving system design, component selection, and support through build, testing, and commissioning support.

Key Responsibilities

- Design hydraulic systems, schematics, and power units for custom equipmentSelect components (pumps, valves, cylinders) and develop BOMsReview customer specs, drawings, and technical requirementsSupport manufacturing, testing, and commissioning activities
- Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and resolve technical issues
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and customers
- Provide occasional remote and on-site technical support

Requirements





- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong experience in hydraulic system design and integration.
- Knowledge of hydraulic components, circuits, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Comfortable working in a custom manufacturing workplace
