Become a Regional Planner for Electrical Maintenance with Nova Scotia Power in Truro/Stellarton, Nova Scotia. This full time position aims at enhancing system reliability through efficient maintenance planning.
You will be working closely with the NE System Maintenance Supervisor while ensuring maintenance plans for substation equipment and thermal generation resources are in place. Your role will require you to manage teams effectively while prioritizing safety and environmental compliance. Flexibility to travel across the province is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain long-term maintenance plans • Oversee equipment upgrades and preventive maintenance • Review test results and conduct quality inspections • Create detailed cost estimates for internal teams • Provide direct support to work crews during operations
Requirements: • Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology • Five years of equipment maintenance experience preferred • Valid Nova Scotia Driver's License with clean record • Proficient in work management systems and electrical maintenance • Experience in planning will be a significant advantage
