Become a crucial part of child welfare as a full-time Protection Support Worker in Timmins. Provide preventive and protective services to children and families involved with the Agency.
In this role with NEOFACS, you will join the Child Care and Resource team, delivering essential services to children and families under protection. Key skills include excellent communication, organizational abilities, and the capacity to work flexible hours and travel. Your contributions will focus on applying legislative requirements and supporting families in crisis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver preventive intervention services to families in need
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and clients
• Organize client support and documentation
• Interpret legislative requirements accurately
• Travel as required for service delivery
Requirements:
• College Diploma in Human Services required
• Flexible schedule and travel willingness
• Minimum G2 driver's license; G Class preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
