Join Magna as an Environmental Health and Safety Lead where your expertise will enhance safety standards and environmental compliance. This position emphasizes rigorous health and environmental management strategies.
As part of Magna's team, the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and implementing comprehensive health, safety, and environmental management systems. You will liaise with various government ministries and internal departments to uphold high safety standards. Your role will also include conducting audits, training staff, and analyzing accident statistics to promote continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with health and safety management policies • Collaborate in internal and external safety audits • Contribute to key performance targets for safety programs • Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies • Conduct risk assessments for recent processes
Requirements: • Degree in Occupational Health, Safety, or Environmental studies • Minimum three years related experience • Proficiency in ISO14001 environmental standards • Strong analytical skills for accident data • Experience in training and health programs
