Construction is hiring for the role of Crane Operator Journeyperson for short-term maintenance at Cenovus's Lloydminster facility in Alberta. As a key team member, you will be responsible for safely operating a 100-ton crane, performing critical lifts, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. You will collaborate closely with riggers to execute lifts effectively in confined industrial spaces. Key Responsibilities:
Operate 100T Rough Terrain crane for lifting and positioning
Perform thorough inspections and necessary equipment maintenance
Communicate lift plans and safety protocols with crew
Execute lifts according to site-specific engineered plans
Assist with other trades during downtime as required
Requirements:
Journeyperson Crane Operator certification (Red Seal preferred)
3+ years of experience operating Rough Terrain cranes
Clean Class 5 Driver’s License required
Completion of safety orientations and training
Pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test
