Make a difference as an Addictions Counsellor with Peel Addiction Assessment & Referral Centre. Support adult clients in Mississauga through counselling and guided case management in a full time role. As part of PAARC's mission, you will play a vital role in the Adult Community Treatment (ACT) Program by providing individualized assessments and treatment plans.

Responsibilities include facilitating counselling sessions and crisis response to ensure client needs are met promptly. Your knowledge in substance use and behavioral dependencies will support those navigating their recovery journey. Key Responsibilities:
Assess client needs and plan effective treatment strategies
Conduct ongoing supportive counselling and case management
Lead structured group sessions via technology
Provide timely crisis management for clients
Document all client interactions and care accurately

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in related discipline
2 years of relevant experience preferred
Certifications in CPR and First Aid required
Experience working with diverse populations beneficial
Robust skills in trauma-informed counselling essential
